Alexisonfire share new song "Complicit"

The pride of St. Catharines Ontario, Alexisonfire, released their second new song of the year today. The track is called “Complicit.”

Back in February, Alexisonfire roared back with the song “Familiar Drugs.” At that time, Wade MacNeil said that if things were feeling good, there would be more.

“Complicit” has the band making a statement. Singer George Pettit says, “‘Complicit’ is about recognizing the unfair advantages that we are afforded as white, heterosexual males. It’s about rejecting regressionist ideas of racism, misogyny and hetero supremacy. It’s about accepting that there is no freedom and no future in a world that is not inclusive.”

The song is available as 7-inch single for the collectors. Black vinyl or the limited edition translucent red. Nice.

Alexisonfire is doing a limited bunch of showcase shows.
