It will still be a few months before Canadian football kick off but Winnipeg fans are getting a glimpse into what’s in store this season.
Mark’s CFL Week touches down in the city this week. It’s the second time the league has done the off-season event that combines fan fun with serious football.

Fan Fest will take place at the RBC Convention Centre Thursday and Friday from 3 – 9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
It’s free and features autograph sessions, chances to test your football skills and even make the call with officiating staff.
Global News will also be there with our popular green screen technology. You can also meet Bombers’ Quarterback Matt Nichols and Toronto Argonauts Quarterback Rickey Ray at the Global News booth on Thursday from 5 – 5:30 p.m. During the same time Friday you can meet Saskatchewan Roughrider Charleston Hughes and Montreal Alouettes player John Bowman.

Some events, such as the Girls CFL NFL Flag Clinic Thursday and the National Combine Saturday require participants to sign-up on-line ahead of time.
Fans will have several opportunities to score autographs from players, past and present throughout the event.
Bomber’s alumni appearances include Milt Stegall, Matt Dunigan, Doug Brown, Obby Khan, Rod Hill and Chris Walby.
CFL Week has a more serious side as well. Prospects will be taking part in the National Combine in hopes of impressing the scouts and getting signs. Fans can see them give it their best on Saturday –just make sure you sign up for a free ticket ahead of time.
