Mulaney, a three-time Emmy Award, Critics Choice award, and WGA award-winning writer, comedian, and actor, is set to host Saturday Night Live on November 2nd for his sixth time, while Gaffigan, a seven-time Grammy nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer, two-time New York Times best-selling author, three-time Emmy winning top touring performer, and multi-platinum-selling recording artist continues to make waves this season as a regular guest on SNL, portraying Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, the running mate of Vice President Kamala Harris. Single day tickets for July 19 and 20 and 3-day weekend passes
for Winnipeg and Edmonton will go on sale on Friday, November 1 at 10:00 a.m. local time,
giving fans the opportunity to secure their spot for an unforgettable evening or full weekend of
laughter.
“We couldn’t be more excited to announce this John and Jim co-headline as the first couple
shows for 2025,” says Brennan McFaul, Vice President of Trixstar. He adds, “They are long time
friends and a couple of the best comedians of our time. They have never performed like this so
having them on the same stage, on the same night in both Winnipeg and Edmonton is going to be
an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance.”
Following an incredible summer of laughter and entertainment, GOCF will celebrate its fifth
consecutive year in 2025, with previously announced Canadian markets Edmonton, Winnipeg,
Halifax, Calgary, and Vancouver set to welcome one-of-a-kind outdoor experiences, once
again bringing its signature blend of world-class comedy and vibrant festival atmosphere to
audiences coast-to-coast. This year, GOCF is pleased to introduce several new offerings to
enhance the festival experience. Attendees can opt for VIP Table service, which includes hot
food options, select merchandise for order, premium spirits, enhanced beverage services,
FastPass lines at the walk-up bars, free Wi-Fi, and more. For those looking for a premium space,
the VIP Club will provide private services, exclusive merchandise, washroom trailers, enhanced
group perks, soft seating, games, and protection from the elements—availability is limited. The
upgraded GA+ experience allows fans to enjoy a separate, earlier entrance to the grounds for
prime seating and FastPass lines at the bar. Additionally, new for 2025, limited 3-day passes for
all ticket tiers are now available, giving fans the chance to secure their weekend spot at one of
the summer’s most anticipated events.
Since 2021, the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival, produced by Trixstar LIVE, has donated over
$550,000 to local charities across its markets, fostering a diverse, inclusive, and safe
environment that highlights all forms of performance comedy. Through the Great Outdoors
Community Fund, the festival plans to continue its commitment to supporting local causes,
creating job opportunities, and raising vital donations in 2025 and beyond, as well as evolving its
green event practices and improving accessibility, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the festival
experience.
