‘Tis the season of giving, and the Christmas Cheer Board will once again be making their annual deliveries of food, toys and holiday cheer to those in need – to make the season merrier for less fortunate members of our community. The Cheer Board provides families with grocery hampers and gifts for children 14 years of age and under. They pride themselves on being non-denominational to help Manitobans across all cultures and beliefs.
To assist in fulfilling these needs, Power 97, along with 680 CJOB, Country 99 and Global News, will be set-up near the food court in St. Vital Centre, November 28th and 29th for this year’s ‘Christmas Miracle’. If you can assist with donations of cash, new unwrapped toys or non-perishable food items, please drop them off for later distribution to families in need this December. With any in-person donation made, you can enter to win great stocking stuffers like concert tickets and more.
Donations can be made…
- Friday, November 28th from 7am to 9pm
- Saturday, November 29th from 9am to 6pm
There will be Tip Tap Pay machines on-site for easy, cashless transactions.
If you’re unable to join us, please consider making a donation online anytime.
