Arkells Go Back-To-Back on Power 97

Winnipeg’s rock station, Power 97 is a huge supporter of Canadian music, so you can imagine the station’s excitement when the Arkells were announced as the halftime entertainment at last night’s 108^th Grey Cup between the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Hamilton Tiger Cats. Yes, the Arkells were performing in their hometown, but in in the end, the Arkells’ turned out to be the Blue Bomber’s good luck charm with the Blue Bombers defeating the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 33-25 in an exciting overtime finish.

To celebrate Winnipeg’s back-to-back Grey Cup wins, and to thank the Arkells, Power 97 is playing Arkells songs back-to-back from December 12-15.
