The 37th annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic, presented by Johnston Group, is happening Sunday, September 27th from 9 am to 4 pm, beginning with the Teddy Bears’ Pancake Breakfast by IHOP beginning at 9 am! Grab your favourite stuffie and join Dr. Goodbear at Assiniboine Park for an exciting day of family fun!
Teddy Bears’ Picnic is a Winnipeg tradition started by a group of dedicated volunteers more than 36 years ago. The event features many fun and educational activity tents, including the Dr. Goodbear Clinic put on by frontline staff from HSC Children’s Hospital, where kids’ teddy bears are triaged and go through a variety of medical tests and treatments including MRIs, X-rays, casting; and the I Want to be a Scientist tent put on by Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba (CHRIM) that encourages imagination in fun science-based activities and showcases how they can be used in medical settings.
Start the day in a delicious way by attending the Teddy Bears’ Pancake Breakfast by IHOP from 9 am to 12 pm. Purchase your $5 pancake breakfast tickets in advance online. Tickets will also be available to purchase in-person at Teddy Bears’ Picnic.
